Beautiful depiction of the Greenman. I've been going through quite a few Greenman images of late and this is one of the very best I have seen.

What did you use to color this image? Markers? It's really so beautiful.

i have always had an affinity for the greenman...
an almost erotic bond with him since i was a small
girl and learned of him from my welsh great gran and
has not abated with my eventual maturation, if anything
it has grown....

Very appealing image! It reminds me of something that the American cartoonist Frank Thorne might have come up with. By the way, the Green man wasn´t only endemic to European cultures, but he is significant in the Islamic world too; check out this web-page:
