You have a nice start to your gallery; a good mix of compositions from manga-style to more realistic, and a few fantasy creatures thrown in - I like the variety. You seem to have a good eye for horses, and your figures are well above-average, anatomy wise. Do you use any references, or have you taken any figure drawing classes? Both are very helpful in developing as an artist. Use every resource you can get.br>;gt;You mentioned being interested in digital painting - my advice there is to experiment with it when you get the chance, but meanwhile, keep honing your drawing and painting skills. The computer is a handy tool, but it isn't a magic button that will turn every drawing into great art the minute you get it on screen. The better your skills are when you finally sit down at a computer, the easier it will be to use it to get the effects you want. Keep pushing yourself into unfamiliar territory. Just from a brief glance at your work, I am going to predict that you share my challenge, which is a reluctance to work on backgrounds once the "fun part", the figure or character, is done! Don't give in to yourself there. Give your character a setting worthy of it. It's hard for me to tell what media you are using - it looks like anything from colored pencil to crayon - but practice the same kind of subtlety and blending on your backgrounds that you do on your characters. t;Altogether, a lot of fun, and a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing how your art develops! Mona Ghassemi replies: "Yahoo! A response! I feel so great! No, I haven't taken any figure drawing classes. I do use other works or photographs as inspiration on occasion, but not with most of these. Yes, it is true that I don't really work on background, but I do have some larger paintings etc. with backgrounds... unfortunately they are too big for the scanner... Thanks so much for the advice, I very much appreciate any that I can get! "

I hope you enjoy your little place on the branch of this huge tree. I think you have a wonderful start to a beautiful gallery. I love your use of bold and bright colors (the art work that you have colored, of course). The colors are very expressive of your personality. Keep up the wonderful work!! Mona Ghassemi replies: "Thanks so much for the comment! I somehow have fourteen now while last time I checked I had zero... I wonder how that happened? Anyway... whoop de do!"
