Hey, I'm Lauren McLinden, as you've probably figured out by now. My life has been pretty frustrating so far. My family supports me, though . . . most of the time. But luckily I have some good friends that stick by me!

If you find some of my writings strange, that's because I write depending on what mood I'm in. So you might find rage, sorrow, passion, and confusion all wrapping into one poem. If you visit often, you might be able to figure me out . . . eventually!

All right, since this won’t let me reply your comments in my page, I’ll do it this way. Lauren, I am thrilled that my works help you in some small way. While I won’t say that I know what you are feeling, or going through, I can say that I have been there, in that place where Death lingers and beckons. And I learned that with good friends to be there for you, you can get through anything. My motto for life has become this: "When trying is no longer enough, we are left with two choices. We either do, or we do not." To this, I mean that when trying to live, to survive, to make it through something is no longer enough, stop trying. Either make it, or do not. The choice is ours. I had a good friend to lead me to this thought, and this friend has helped me through a lot. And because of this friend, I have decided that I am going to do. No longer try, but do. Live, survive, and make it. No matter how hard things get, how hopeless life seems to have become, I will push through, and so can you honey. I can only hope that this helps you in the same way that my stories seem to. *Hug*

Hi! Thanks for commenting on some of my stories. It’s pretty rare these days for somebody to comment on my page if I haven’t already commented on theirs. Too bad about your stories getting rejected but I do have to agree with the PG-13 rule. The fastest turnoff for me in a story is too much erotica/blood/gore. Besides lowering my opinion of the writer (A good writer shouldn’t have to rely on shock value!) it offends my moral code.
Rant aside, I hope you can clean your stuff up enough that it’s acceptable to the Mods so I can read it. Cheers!
