Once you’ve got that down, work on the force and gesture of your characters poses to give them more of an action ’life-like’ feel. Constantine "ghostdog" Demos replies: "100% correct anatomy = realism and I am more of an impressionist but I see your point nonetheless. As for the force and life-like feeling , apart from the fact that it also is engulfed by realism , doesn’t go along this series of drawings since they are meant to be pose portraits of the characters and not a moment in their life. Constantine "ghostdog" Demos replies: "If by designs you mean the various accessories/pipes/gear/patterns in clothes/runes and generally all the bits and pieces of detail in the drawings , then I must say that it mostly comes out as a whim in the process of the creation. They somehow coexist with the general theme of the drawing and often serve as an inside joke lets say. In many occasions I do put some thought into them in regard with the story of the drawing and if its about a fantasy character. I have to say that your comment can only be taken as a compliment as I checked out your work and its quite astonishing. Thanks for stopping by.
