Excellent, I like the diversity you portray here extremely well, hang on to that imagination if it's the last thing you do!!!

1 Justine A. Smith replies: "

Firstly you got the paint pictures (very daring, I doubt I'd try that, very limiting but I imagine it's quite giving for an artist to have to limit himself like that 12 ) - then you got the detailed facial image, Ice Witch, quite splendid, giving you what looks like a fairly desperate look. And lastly you got that wonderful picture of the warrior, simple but very effective. That one's my favorite I think, the impression I got first was that of a rocky cliff-face, but as soon as my eyes registered the name of the picture it got a new dimension.

As I say, keep up being creative! Thank you for such sweet compliments!!! All are very appreciated, I'm not quite sure what to say... so I won't say more then Thank you again!!"

Really *adore* your Ice Witch!
You seem to manage to get very interesting facial expressions with very subtle effects - great job!

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "Ice witch is my favoite too, thanks for dropping bye"

Welcome to the woods! May your gallery grow big soon! Quite an artwork since you are 14 yo. You have tried different media (omg, does ms painter still exist? no, wait, it's packed with the windows os XD) What I like most the Ice Witch, it shows that you have talent to achieve much!
Keep up!

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "I love trying new mediums, even if I am not succesful. I use markers, markers with water, watercolours, coloured pencils, coloured pencils with watercolours, acrylics(even if they drive me up the wall), collage, crayons, pencils, and the hated painter program. I love experimenting, but it means for every succesful piece I have fifteen to twenty unsuccesful ones."

Hey...welcome to Elfwood! You've got some really cool stuff here. You know, I used to live in Quebec... I'm in Alberta now, and man what a difference!

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "I've never been to alberta, so I'll just take your word on the big difference. I love Quebec though, so not planning on leaving anytime soon. Thanks for taking the time to drop by"

Your atleast 10 times better than i was at your age (stop sounding like an old geezer! *slaps self*) i love the ice witch she fits her role better than my wind witch i think, i'll be back for updates...

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "Thank you very much! All very nice comments, and I'm actually updating today, but I'll never know when the tickets will actually go through"

Justine, your ice witch is really very good and has a lot of pathos. She looks sad and a little hardened, like she's had to make one too many difficult decisions. For someone who admits to not practicing much, I think you have a great deal of untapped talent. Thanks for coming by my gallery! It's always nice to see a new face. 2

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "Thank you so much!! And sorry I must have misworded because I do practise quite a bit, just not fantasy art. "

Hi Justine, I love your pencil work, especially the cherry tree piece. It has a modern art concept and feel to it, and you never know, could be worth a lot of money! Anyway, thanks for visiting my page!

Ivan

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "It does have a sort of pre-educated Salvador Dali feel to it (my current artistic idol). I doubt it will be worth much unless I ever do continue in art, but thank you for saying something so nice."

Aha! Tenth other fourteen year old I've found on here! 1 Nice to see another one, hehe. I like your picture called "The Eye." Keep up the nice work, hm?

:-) Justine A. Smith replies: "Put that down to nine, I just turned 15. Still my art is fourteen, so I guess it might count... I'll update my profile soon...well, eventually. "

heya, newbie speaking here. Love the gallary and the 'Ice Witch', so does everyone else. But I really like her eye the expression in it makes the picture. You've got the talent and can't wait to see more!

"Keep sleeping!"
