A fire elemental that shows up in a book I'm writing. This was really just a study of fire...it's difficult to paint realisticly.

I know its supposed to be a dragon, but with the way you did the horns it looks more like a deer...with fangs.

The texture of the fire is really well done, though. Nice shading and use of color.

If you ever felt like fixing it, I think your only problem is the horns. If you made them have a sweeping look with just one prong, then it would look more like the overgrown reptile we all know and love. The teeth are actually okay.
