I've been writing things (not just fantasy) ever since I can remember . Apart from writing, I draw and paint, actually *like* mathematics and very much enjoy walking, riding, gliding and canoeing, although the last three are only occasional treats :-(.

These are a few of the pieces I thought might be good enough to share with people who know their fantasy literature and could perhaps give me some suggestions to improve.

Constructive criticism would be very much appreciated (in fact, any sort of criticism...praise is very nice, but I find it doesn't really help :-). I will reciprocate if you comment!

You'll find a lot of poems here, partly since I suspect that I am not alone in having a short attention span when not reading from a printed page. I put a lot of work into these (Okay, so I'm a perfectionist: write once, read twice, rewrite once...ad infinitum) so I hope you enjoy! If not, I wish you happy wandering through elfwood...:-)

Hi Steff,
your poems and story seems to be very nice, but I'm sorry, I didn't understand everything as well, but I think it was enough, to know what it is about.
Go on like that and with that ! ! ! !

Love, Julie

good poems. I haven't read your story yet, but I really like "Dark lords rant". Keep writing!

:-) S. Kocurova replies: "Glad you like it: its good to have the opinion of another poet! "

After coming across one of your helping paragraphs I just wanted to know why it's "thy horse has been stabled?" as surely it would be "thy horse hath been stabled?" because the horse is the subject 3rd person therefore "thy horse (it) hath been stabled?"

:-) S. Kocurova replies: "Basically because I'm lazy. I chose to focus on the 'thou' form instead of doing a full archaic grammar thing. I'm a bit shaky on the rest of the forms and I think that for people who aren't quite as interested as I am, getting 'thou' right is quite enough to be going on with."

hiya I'll be back laterz just to say that I have updated The Lost Princess and will be back soon to check out more of your work xx

1 S. Kocurova replies: "Indeed. I shall most certainly scoot over and read..."

Comgratulations for being selected Writer of the Day.

Good poems, though very different than my own.
