Ah, a fellow brother in Christ, eh? Welcome to the woods! The sooner you get artwork up, any artwork, the sooner you can make some friends who check your page regularly. I see you’ve written a number of comments on other sites already, by your profile, and that’s good - in fact, unless you get a mod’s choice that’s really the only way to get attention for yourself. Comment graciously and constructively on others, and they usually will return the favor. Feel free to use people who comment on my page as a beginning network - most all are excellent writers or artists in their own right, and they are often more than willing to comment on a new page. And some are Christian too. So drop by my site if you get a chance, alright? I’m a writer instead of an artist, but friends are friends!

I would hope that you are glad I jioned, I write too, and if ever you do happen to come back, I would like it if you were a little more creative with words."

Ah, you misunderstand me, good man. If I were criticizing Christians I would not have said "God bless" at the end. I assure you, when I say "Ah, a fellow brother in Christ, eh?" it is an expression of satisfaction and gratitude in a world increasingly against the Lord. The welcome is completely genuine. I am sorry if you felt awkward or attacked by the comment, but that was not at all what I was saying. Why else would I offer a network to some Christians if I was cursing them? We are the lights in a dark place, Mr. Lowe, and lights are stronger when together. I would not want a Christian on Elfwood to remain disconnected from the others on it. I welcome you in the love of Christ no matter what you think of me.

Perhaps you thought my advice premature and unsolicited, and therefore rude? Forgive me if it sounded like I was criticizing you this early - that would’ve been absurd of me, seeing as you have no published stories yet. I’m actually impressed that you have 69 comments tallied on your profile as it is. Many published members don’t get around to that many comments, and I’m very pleased that you are investing in the community. Keep it up!

Can you now, perhaps, see the original meaning in my first post? Again, I’m sorry for the confusion, and I hope it is cleared up now.

Garrett Jericho Lowe replies: "I will be adding hopefully very soon, i havent had the chance with school and stuff to draw.... i hope that when i do that poeple would see what God is doing for me in my life tho, i am blessed to have this profile, i hope many will come to know Christ through me and what i do... as for the stories i will be adding those sooner then the art most likely, as soon as i figure out all this stuff^_^ it’s very difacult, i have found, to get them to except my art and stories^_^ thenk you for the encouraging words!!!"

Hey, it’s me! Just checking up to see if you’ve got anything published here yet. If you plan on uploading stories, I’ll probably comment on those rather than art, as they’re my forte. Give me a poke when something’s ready, and I’ll come on over. Just remember: school comes first! (unfortunately that means for me as well. )

hello im 13 to!! its nice to no theres other kids my age on here. i see your a strong beleiver. thats really cool. i respect anyone who can keep a strong faith.....i think thats why i dont think i deserve much respect. its hard for me to beleive god could love everyone that much. i guess he sounds to go to be true...even though i still want to follow him. but thats cool you have some gardian walking with you all the time. it must make you feel better.
