I drew this arround the time i was experimenting with body positions, muscle contractions and shadowing...added a little matrix effect there just for the heck of it : )). The picture ilustrates a harbrion native. They are basically strong human sized creatures with an inteligence to match. Anything else to add... well, he's falling :)

The text in the picture can be translated to: You can pierce the body armor but you shall never reach the mind's armor.

This is a very dynamic picture. Reminds me of the works of finnish artist Kalervo Palsa (one of my idols). Maybe some more shading to the muscles.

I think the position is really good because you can really tell that he has been thrown back by the force of whatever is being fired at him. As there is a lot of muscle detail on the body, perhaps you could add more detail to the face? Overall I think this is good though.

Looks like you had fun with the body positioning! He almost looks like he’s trying to dance out of the way of the bullets...western style.1


:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "dancing? 22 thats a first =)) anyway this character just turned around fast when he heard the sounds of the guns, stumbled on the building and because of the bullet’s force he got knocked off his balance, building and life line 12 also stupidly he tried to defend himself of the noise emitting things and maybe even catch the projectile 12 though he seems to have failed miserably 12 oh well that’s life 2 (to bad it ended for him 16)"

good job on the musculature! I always mess up on that 16

the mussels are good but i think the heads to box like and the eye seems bit ...weird all in all its a good piese the muscular body i can’t do mussels and the pose is great as well can’t wait for more
