At first i wanted to make an egiptian priest giving a young maiden as a sacrifice to a mean old looking dragon (the basic maiden in distress situation)...but after i did his first eye...well i had to do something else, and so when i wanted to continue... no more ballpoint pen of the same calour -.- ...ok swtich it...but i forgot what i wanted to draw and so i continued the head... then attached the head to a scepter... added the dragon... and before i realised i had taken a picture of a smirking dragon... guess he didn't like the idea of a maiden sacrifice :S. I intentionaly left out the shadowing becuase i was afraid i would mess up the picture, i'll add it later when i get better at it :D

How... peculiar. Does the head speak, by any chance, and is now giving the silent treatment?
Anyway, very nifty scepter thingy, whatever it is.

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "well i think thats one way of seeing a dead priest’s head on a magical scepter with a star as a power source 1 but ya he does look like he gives the silent treatment isn’t he 1 also he looks really arrogant 1 i always picture priests from the past with a face similar to his 12 "

This is an impressive picture, you must have spent a lot drawing those tiny scales!

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "yup 2 those links of the chain mail armor took a lot of the time creating this drawing 2
I’m glad you like it and thanks for dropping by 2"
17 Jun 2008:-) John R. McCoy
ya holy crap, how long did u spend on this pic?

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "54 minutes 2 minus or plus a few minutes or seconds 12"

I picked this one to start with cause the blue caught my eye...I love your willingness to pay much attention to detail. try working on more fluid movement in your work, I did look at some of the others before this one, and the reoccuring theme is they look too stiff. There is one that I did see that had some fluidity to it and it was the one with the octopus like arms going everywhere.

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "in my drawing evolution that is one thing i’m currently aiming at 12 but each style has its own fluidity and i don’t know my style yet 16...that’s why some of my drawings will always looks...STIFF! T_T (and thinking i have an almost 2 years of serious drawing break...well i think i’ll have some troubles at all chapters 12 (good thing drawings is like bicycle riding 12 to me...)"

I understand about the drawing break stuff, I don’t get much time with my three kiddos in fact, before the current pics on my little site I hadn’t drawn in a year. I usually only draw if I have a commission and I hadn’t really been marketing myself til recently. I need to practice too. Especially when it comes to detail!! As far as being stiff it will go away with practice, you’ve got a great eye. I would love to see your most current work! I need to post the rest of my stuff too.

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "well i just pushed the published button and sent a ticket to the mods 12 the faster they look at it the better 12 the stiffness doesn’t seem to have gotten away since...well i have more then 2 years break in drawing and well...some are not colored, some are, and 2 are just plain weird 16"

It is a nice picture and very detailed, it is good for only 8 hours of experience with art. His arm doesn’t seem to be right. You did a good job with the muscle structure and everything but the spike on his shoulder kind of looks like it’s on the under side of his arm so the arm kind of looks like it is cracking down or something, also, the part of the arm connecting with the body is too straight, that might be what the problem is. Try positioning your arm like how the lizard dudes is. I almost broke my arm trying to do that. Don’t get mad because I said that, the rest of the picture is very good, just be sure to keep that in mind. DONT HURT ME!!! Yeeeeee *runs away* 12 11

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "this was made after i had more hours in it 12 like 200 or so 12
Hm so that’s why that spike armor didn’t seem right too me to 16 thanks for pointing that out 2
I know it hurts 16 i guess that might of been the problem but as stated before i drew first his hand, then the rest of the arm that connect to the body so that might of been the reason why it went mojo on me 16 ...oh well it was a good drawing experience 2
Thanks for the advices and for the tips 12"

Yay you are not mad at me!! 1 Your welcome for the tip with the arm, I am not really good at doing arms myself. And thanks for all the tips/comments you left me in my gallery. 12

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "no problem 12"
23 Jun 2008:-) Katt Angel
owww... yes it does hurt, i was stupid enough to try it!!

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "lol welcome to the club =)) i think you are the forth one trying including me 12"
10 Jul 2008:-) Twyla Aidyla Bendyna
interesting....I think this particular dragon prefers offerings of sadistic-minded priests? lol

:-) Dragomir Cristian Madalin replies: "lol =)) nope he doesn’t like sacrifices at all, he prefers cake and vegetable soup instead =)) "
