Premonition of disaster

The vampire girl and Twin Blade were both asleep in the bushes by the road. A lot of cars passed by and none of them were able to see them, because they were camouflaged by the friendly nature. They slept quietly without a thing to bother them until the sun finally set down and the full moon rose in the sparkling night sky.

They were both dreaming. The vampire girl dreamed happy things, while Twin Blade had a Picasso paint style dream which made him feel like an alien on Earth, but at the middle of it all images stopped and everything became pitch black.

All he could see was darkness, though his body was clear as day. Then, out of nowhere he saw the form of an angel. He was made of pure light, no careful details or face. He was just a form made out of light. Closing in on him the angel said with his voice:

“In this world do not show your powers unless necessary! Do not reveal your race until the correct time! Do not reveal your marriage with Safaerya (it is read Sapheria) until the right moment! Do not kill a single creature on this planet until the right time! Do not mate with Safaerya until the heart will say it is OK! Do not let yourself enslaved by another girl’s charm! You must pass the Horror High School even if it will be very annoying and very boring! Do not reveal your real from to Safaerya until the decisive time!” Said the angelic form of light with Twin Blade’s commanding voice.

“Wait a second! Why? Who? When? What? And most importantly how can you speak with my voice” Said Twin Blade with a tone that clearly showed his annoyance.

“I am none other than you and not you at the same time. I am…”

“Dead if ya’ don’t spill out the beans pronto!” Said Twin Blade gesticulating.

“Er … I am sorry but I can’t do that, though I can say that if you will follow my rules you will find your light!” Said the angelic form of light disappearing into the darkness while Twin Blade’s Picasso image dream continued.

“Wait a second! HEI!!! What do you mean by LIGHT!!! OI! … ugh … *ano baka tenshi!!! … Anyway … What is wrong with this dumb dream? For crying out loud my nose is on my foot, my eye is in my liver, the other on my butt and my brain only God knows where that is! Said Twin Blade very annoyed.

Their dreams would continue for another hour and by the time they would wake up it would be close to eleven o’clock. Twin Blade was the first to get away from his dream and the first things he felt was the worm body of the vampire girl that was still peacefully sleeping.

Her beautiful relaxing face made Twin Blade’s heart skip a beat and without thinking he gently put his hand thorough her silvery hair and put aside a piece of it in such a way so he could see her beautiful face better. At that moment he let go of a tear and she moaned as she started to awaken.

Looking with a gentle smile at her, he started to remember his past. The memories of an old world started to flow in his mind. The memories of an Earth still at the young age of 2020 AC …

As he remembered his past he didn’t notice that the young vampire girl awakened and was looking at him silently without making a sound. His brown eyes were staring at the night’s sky thorough the branches while his mind was flying to the distant past. He captivated her without her knowing why and for a couple of minutes they remained like that until finally his eyes closed for second.

His sleeping face mesmerized her while his warm breath touched her face with a certain feeling and at the same time her breath seamed to unfreeze his heart that slumbered in an icy cold for decades…

Another car past by and her lights flashed Twin Blade’s closed eyes returning him to the present. He opened his eyes fast and in that moment their views met.

They stood like that, staring in each other’s eyes for a few seconds and when she finally realized the position in what she was she jumped a meter behind, slipping upon landing.

Her expression became a surprised one as she could feel how she was falling, but in the next moment two strong hands held her firmly. The young man with dark-brown hair and brown eyes caught her in his arms.

She looked at him with a surprised expression on her face, while he gently smiled back at her.

“Thank you.” She said regaining her footage.

“No problem.” He replied smiling gently.

“And you are?” She asked trying to find out his name.

“My name is … er … you can call me Twin Blade.” He said with a forced smile this time.

The silver-haired girl giggled a little and said with gentle smile:

“Ok. Mister ‘er you can call me Twin Blade’ my name is … “

“Safaerya, I know and my name is Twin Blade without the rest. He he.” He said scratching his head with his left arm, revealing the ring.

“How did you know my … Wait a sec! That ring!” She said shocked.

“Ring? What ring?” He asked a little confused

“The one on your forth finger! That is … no way … then … we … really … ki … kissed?!?” Said Safaerya a little shocked.

“Well I remember kissing you … so I guessed we kissed. He he!” He said smiling innocently.

“Tell me … we didn’t … bit …” She tried to ask but the state of shock wouldn’t let her.

“Huh? Bit? Ya you have bitten me on the neck and sucked out about a kilo of my blood and not to mention the fact that when we kissed a metal bottle hit me on the head and I accidently bit your tongue. I’m sorry if it hurt.” He said again with an innocent smile on his face.

“You IDIOT!!!” She screamed punching him in the nose and throwing him in a tree with enough power to bend metal.

“Ouch! Ma lose! Ih hots!” (Ouch! My nose! It hurts!) , said Twin Blade trying to stop his nose bleed.

“IDIOT!!! If you kiss a vampire and bite her tongue while at it then you create the start of the contract for an eternal marriage … but … your … blood … so … tasty …” Said Safaerya getting seduced again by his blood.

“What?” He asked after he finally stopped his nose bleed.

“You look so … appetizing …” Said Safaerya with lust in her eyes and shine on her overgrown canines.

“Huh? What are you … ugh …!” Said Twin Blade while he was pushed on his back by her powerful hand and lustful view.

He felt the force of her push like it was that of a bear but when he looked in her eyes, her power of seduction took over him immediately. He could see her beautiful hair hiding a portion of her face as the light of the full moon shined through the branches in small areas creating a romantic mood. Her red eyes hypnotized him as he began to breathe harder. Her lips became so appetizing that he started to sweat a little in the effort of restraining himself and her touch was so delicate that it made his skin tingle.

She half opened her mouth and half closed her eyes and blushing she drew near her face to his, keeping him in her seductive spell and just when she was about to give him a lustful kiss …

“OUCH!!! MY NECK! MY NECK! HOW CAN YOU POSIBLY MISS MY LIPS WITH ELEVEN CENTIMETERS?!?“ Screamed out Twin Blade trying to release himself from her seductive spell and strong grip. “And why the heck are you sucking my blood? Are you some kind of vampire?” He asked squirming in the grip.

“Yes … A pure blooded one.” She said with a lustful look in her eyes, while she licked with her pink tongue the remaining blood from her fangs and lips, action that made Twin Blade blush more.

After she seductively licked all the blood she drew near her face to his once again, but this time to kiss for real and just when she was about to touch his lips she backed off fast trying to release herself from his blood spell.

“That was CLOSE! I nearly kissed you …urk… again.” She said acting stomach sickness.

“Hey you are grossed out about kissing me but you charge on biting my neck and sucking my blood? So tell me again which is the gross one?” He said raising an eyebrow.

“The kissing part?” She said smiling innocently.

“You’re nuts! But then again you are a pure blooded vam … huh? Vampire?” He said looking with shock on his face.

“Yup! Top of the class too!” She said giggling a little.

“Just great! And what was with you freaking out about these rings anyway?” He said showing his left hand.

“GHA! No …way! Tell me it isn’t true! Tell me that we don’t have rings on our wedding ring finger! Please!” She said dropping a tear.

“We do. So what’s the big deal with them anyway? We will just take them off!” Said Twin Blade starting to pull the ring off the finger. “Er…it won’t come off.” He said with a dull face.

“If you cut your arm and destroy it, then it will regenerate with ring and all. Just like new! He he!” She said with a face that clearly showed her horror.

“Ok … so what do they mean?” He said with the same dull face.

“In vampire terms it means we are officially married for eternity. And to add to the disaster you are a stupid boring weak human and I am just in the second year of high school. A young twenty-three year old like me to be married in her high school days with a weak human is the nightmares of nightmares!” She said with the same horror on her face.

“Ok … I see you don’t give too many good compliments, but can’t we just get a ‘divorce’? After all it would be better than to be married with a ‘weak boring and stupid human’ such as me.” Said Twin Blade with a twitch in his right eye.

“We can’t! Didn’t you hear we are MARRIED for ETERNITY!!! There is no divorce in this type of marriage! That’s why vampires don’t marry too often!” Said Safaerya showing her annoyance as well with a twitch in her right eye.

“Ok … so … you are twenty-three years old and still in high school?” Asked Twin Blade raising an eyebrow.

“Ya why?” Asked Safaerya looking at him with a little curiosity on her face.

“OOOKAY … So … Let me get this straight … I am now married with a retarded still in high school twenty-three years OLD VAMPIRE for eternity. Right?” He asked with a smile on his face.

The result of his conclusion ended him up with a powerful punch in his face from his new found wife and a lot of stars twinkling around his head.

“Pweeetty!” He said with a idiotic look on his face and a big bump on his forehead.

“Anyway … it’s … almost midnight so I have to hurry to the Horror High School for the opening ceremony. So … C ya!” She said raising up and getting out of the bushes.

“Wait a second! I have to go to that place to! I need to graduate it!” Said Twin Blade stumbling on his feet while trying to get up.

“What? No way! And how can a human go to a monster high school anyway?” She asked with a superior look on her face.

“Don’t know! I guess I’ll register there as a vampire! He he.” He said smiling at her.

“Well … I don’t see what else we can do … but if you tell anyone there that I am your wife or girlfriend or that you even know me I am going to slaughter you!” She said threatening him with her fist.

“Okay honey! He he.” He said with a force smile on his face.

“Call me again like that and you are chopped up dog food! Got it?” She said piercing him with a cold view.

“Yes Sir! Roger Sir!” He said saluting like a soldier.

After receiving another punch in the head they both headed for the Horror High School.

The night was still young and the stars bloom in the full moon’s sky. Little fire flies were dancing in the bushes by the road while stars were swarming around Twin Blade’s head after being hit by Safaerya.

The right time huh? And I wonder when in God’s name is THE RIGHT TIME? I could just kill her off right now in a sec … but if that idiot angel was right … then this edgy vampire chick IS my light … guess I’ll need to graduate horror just to survive … ugh … Is there anything worse that can happen to me? And why the heck do I listen to that angel that could very well be a simple illusion created by my mind in a certain circumstance … hm … guess it’s better then dying of boredom. Also …

As Twin Blade continued to ponder about the soul’s immortality they made a quick advancement towards the Horror High and little did he knew about the nightmare awaiting him there.
