| 18 Sep 2005 | Mortus | Loading...I always like coming around now an again to see the comments people have posted for the portrait Holger did for my character. I enjoy seeing that so many people enjoy that Terra is not your typical scantily clad warrioress as are usually seen in fantasy art and to a lesser extent fiction. I did have some very specific ideas, but I am glad to have had Holger's input on them as the result was something much better and more believable than what my initial concept was.
Clayton Tait, I honestly do not know what Daggerfall is, so I am reasonably sure I did not get any ideas from there, I can not speak for Holger though. I actually got the idea for the colour from the Mordsith in Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. She wears her red armor on the battlefield, so it is quite likely she is seen here either thinking about a battle to come, or reflecting on one that has just ended.
I can't thank Holger enough for putting in the time to do this for me. Even if her legs are a bit short the portrait is amazing none the less. Holger you are easily equal in skill and talent to the other artests of Santharia. | |
