Here he is, my main man. He's my character, an elven priest of nature. An all around good guy.

I'm a little confused by the hand holding the staff...it's a left hand, but it looks like it's attached to his right arm...?? good pic though 12

the living branch on the staff is an awesome detail! it says so much about the character and his powers.

I like this cartoon style of yours..your characters look awesome but i think i like him the best..it's the hair, hehe i love guys with long hair like his. although his chin's a tad too long for my tastes, ah but i'm supposed to be telling you what i like about the picture not guys, so..it looks great

I love the overall feeling I get from this pic! The stance, the eyes glaring down at you in, like, the MOST condecending fashion possible...! However, I'm (just a liiiiitle) bit of a purist...and therefor feel abliged to ask...isn't he HUGE for an elf? I mean, unless he's a behometh of strength(for those D&D players out in the audience tonight let's say a 20, 3rd edition rules...) other that teensie, tiny detail, I really like it 2)))
...especially that little tree-thingie!

First off, let me get out of the way that I love your style and pretty much all of your artwork that you have on display. If I could just stick to drawing I might hope to be as good as you are now. Also, your examples of coloring *I* feel are quite good as well. Don't knock your skills. Now what prompted me to write on this picture is the "tree" he has hanging from his belt. (I hope you have a sense of humor for this...) When I saw it the first thing that lept to my mind was "pine-scented air freshener"...I just busted out laughing because I could see an actual use for it: "However far I stray from my forest, I still have the scent of home..." Anyhoo, keep up the fantastic work. I can at least know that while I may never be a better artist than you, I am at least a greater procrastinator.

...the problem here is that the anatomical exaggerations are too much in fact they detract from the mysterious character that was drawn in the earlier versions of Rondar. I know it seems like I am over analyzing your work but its only because you are so good. I am sure that you feel the same deep down....then again maybe you don't.

Big chin. He has an air freshener on his belt!!! great job on the clothing.

Wonderful work. I love the piece. I too think he's a bit large for an elf, the jaw especially...I've always read that elves are supposed to have soft features, but i suppose if he's old... I too noticed the "air freshener" but the first thing that popped into my mind was an Oak shaped cookie cutter. 2 Keep up the good work.

His left hand is on his right arm. Is it some kind of condition, or am I seeing things?

I like this pic - It has all the good parts from your other works (great pencil work, shading etc) but also has a great composition, and the pose is beautiful. Great work.
