  | Or Thor in a Dress. The last of my assignments for the Jotun Tarot project. The Seven of swords general refers to sneakiness and deception and features a person sneaking away from an armed camp with a bag full of swords. In this case, the story of the theft of Thor's hammer was requested. The hammer was stolen by the giant Thrym, who demanded the goddess Freyja's hand in marriage to return it. Instead of Freyja, Loki persuaded Thor to dress up as the goddess and go to Jotunheim to retrieve the hammer instead. Photoshop, 4x7 |
