Inspired by the Film Click with Adam Sandler in it.

Angel of death

He stands there, in the background, in the corner of my eye.

I glance at him everyday; we both know it is almost time.

I enjoy every last second I have.

I drop to my knees with a thud.

My family close to me start screaming and crying, I only hear this as a muffle.

He whispers “it’s time” over and over

I hoarsely let my loved ones how much I care for them.

He takes my hand and we walk in to the light,

Just the Angel of Death and I.
