Once the Coldthrones touched the base of a great plateau, the memory of which may have been called Leng. This continent was resplendent with life unseen in the later ages, and as our ancestors were coming to terms with the challence of air breathing, this world was ravaged by our primal gods and the hideously powerful native life, in a war that rent it asunder, to pave the way for the life we know now. From time to time, the Serpent dwells on this mythical shard in the heavens, from which He can oft glimpse the cold and now silent moon...

Again, the concept is very original and you've done a wonderful job creating the sense of mysticism and time-gone-by. I might, if I were you, have picked out a bit of colour on the figure's robe, or something, just faintly, to add another level of interest.

Top notch... clean open linework. Reminds me a bit of one of my favorite artists. Moebius. Pro level illustration in my opinion. Continue in excellence, C

DUDE!

This is awesome... comparisons to Moebius are appropos... but it doesn't seem deriviative. I'm stunned. I saw hints of this style emerging in your work when I was visiting in the summer, but you've really worked it with the colours and light here. Not sure if it needs any more colour like Maya suggested... looks good now... conveys a particular tone.

Man, between you and Matt, I'm just feeling stagnant now. Jerks. 2

Wow. Now this is what I find your work has been lacking. Color theory, you have down. Light and Shadow... you have down. Composition, same. But your lines often seemed so hesitant. This is brilliant and easily one of my favorite pieces of yours. The black lines do SO much to bringup the strength of the entire picture. Very impressive.

I'm kind of feeling a little stagnant myself now.
