	Plucky little halflings flourish in the western lowlands of Oberonn's Land, an area called The Western 'Shires', or 'Downs'. This is Gaeni ('Jenny'), a young halfling of exceptional beauty and dire temperament. But the future for her was short indeed: she is believed to have perished, along with most of the Western Downs, with the passing of the Silver Plague...

17 Jun 2001	Gregory P. Gibbons	Loading... Thanks, Matt. The character came from a comic I drew up on foolscap at work. It's three pages of Gaeni trying to keep a gem from a ... from the owner. She gets beaten pretty bad ...but doesn't give up the gem!

21 Jun 2001	Gregory P. Gibbons	Loading... I suppose I should mention in my bio that I have access to photoshop, combustion and painter, and abuse them extensively. Although I enjoy coloring with acrylic and colored pencils, usually I hit all of my scans with some digital compositing effects.
3 Aug 2001	Zac	Loading... I like this character design quite a bit. In places the colour works really well, but also it looks a bit "layered" under the drawn lines here and there. Hmmm... a thought: Thicken up all the black lines, and then give everything a bit more of a softer, watery blur, particularly over the colored textures. Also the hair is actually too "3D" for the rest of the image. Not to sound too critical... it's a great image and your colour choices are perfect. Also, I love her... she's disturbingly -hot- for a halfling!
9 Nov 2002	Johan Bergström	Loading... What an excellent character. Very detalied and very cute too. I adore the glove, and the cool symbols on her clothes. Solid stance, she seems tight as a spring, ready dor action! Excellent colorwork, it certainly got the look of leather and cotton.
