SciFi and Fantasy Art Knight by Kelvin Michael Green

A concept for a comic I'm working on. Just a sketch, really. The comic in question was the same 'Dungeons and Dragons' sequel idea that led to the creation of a number of the pictures here on my gallery. This character was influenced by the wargolem Calibretto from the comic 'Battlechasers', as well as Todd McFarlane's 'Spawn'. It's a sentient suit of armour that was to be psychically bonded to a small child. Imagine the Pretenders from 'Transformers', and you've got a similar idea.

Its so... hulking... im amazed he can walk in it, a testament to the strength underneath. he must defeat alot of his enemies by falling on them beautiful work. Thanks, Christopher. What I wanted to get across was his size and bulk, and I'm glad that this was successful.

21 Aug 2001	Audrey Whitham	Loading... Like Evangelion but without 14 year olds? I guess your not a big anime fan. Great details and shading I like how it looks like its walking toward me. I'm an Anime fan, but I don't get to see much of it. I'll check out "Evangelion" to see what your point is! The walking perspective was quite difficult to get right. You'll notice I haven't quite managed it - his leg is in the wrong place, so he looks like he's going to fall! =D
