This is a drabble - a fiction piece of exactly one hundred words. I'm trying to practice conciseness, since I tend to get overly descriptive. Now, imagine what happens to the poor knights who wear full plate armor....

"Can't we discuss this?" the dragon asked plaintively.

The knight looked flustered, but brandished his sword bravely. It gleamed impressively in the sunlight. "Have at thee, monster!" he repeated.

The dragon dodged his wild blow. "You should be careful with that! Someone could get hurt. Please put it away. I'm- ah- ah-CHOO!" He snapped his jaw shut too late to stop the sneeze. "Oh, drat, not again...."

After a moment, the dragon opened his eyes and stared mournfully at the pile of ashes in front of him. "I'm allergic to steel," he finished. Sighing, he crept back into his cave.

That was *very* funny! Um the only nitpick I have is you've got a double him in the last line but a very cool itty bitty story!

Really really like this!! Great take on knight-vs-dragon; I really like how the aggressive one here is the knight while the dragon is just trying to solve it peacefully. The "concise-ness" also worked well; the piece feels complete even though it’s just 100 words. I just love reading drabbles 12
