Love lost...but not forgotten. The dead call to the living and beg them to let go of the pain, to move on and experience the glory of life. But sometimes it is hard to let go, and the living dwell upon the dead.

So sad... It makes me want to cry... The emotion is very strong here.. I really love it.

A person would have to be blind as well as DENSE not to see the emotion in this piece. You can really see the pain in the man...the roughness of the lines really brings that out. I really love his pose, almost animalistic...like he's lost his humanity. Very thought-provoking 2

The guy seems dead himself. Sucha strong picture. With her so died he and he is just an empty husk. Impressive how you can achieve sucha clean, neat finish with rough lines like that.

This picture reminds me of losing a guy I was in love with, but not to death....it also reminds me of a car accident that happened recently. My friend's 10 year old cousin died.

Art student, may I just say for an art student you sure have a very critical oppinion, I'm sure YOU either draw like a retarded child and are just jealous; or you are ignorant and wouldn't know art if it bit you in the paintbrush.
Luv Meep
ps: I love this drawing! Lovely concept and beautiful characters!

...you see him creeping around the church
For a year he's been alone
Sorrow took all his senses away
Every night he sleeps beside her grave...

I go digging every night to see what remained
Of the the face that once smiled for me
There by the bells I am spending the night
There among snails a lonely beast
During the day I run after the night
You escape me for the second time
Marry me
I am digging deep with my hands
To find what I missed so much
And the moon is in its most beautiful dress
I have kissed your cold lips
I embrace you tenderly
but your skin tears like paper
And parts are falling off of you
You escape me for the second time
Marry me

What a beautiful poem Deva, I'm honored to have it on the same page with my artwork. I haven't drawn in awhile, but reading your words are inspirational. Thank you.
