The naga are a race of snake-people from the myhology of ancient india. They are said to live in a great underwater city and are ruled by a king called the Nagaraja. Nagaraja is a great serpent with a dozen heads.

Love the detail on the cloth and headwear.. Very nice..The muscles are great too... I think the tail need some more work.. the rest is so great.. I'm sure you could make it a little better.. Maybe darker, or something.. I'm not sure of what's missing..

I always liked Sheshanaga or Vasuki better than Nagaraja, they just flow off the tongue better. Very nice drawing though, I like the Indian-influenced helm he's got on. It's very true to the traditional style.

the greatest myrical of the internet is that we no longer have to rely upon biased interpretations of other peoples cultures but can gain real insite and understanding from the people who actualy live in them - this may sound like a strainge thing for me to say but i grew up in a time when this was not so and bitterly resented that such was the case ... ~12

The hands are beautiful, and in an appropriate pose. I think that the tail is very nice, thank you very much.

very cool. I like it alot. It just so happens I have just drawn a naga most like this, and was searching for nagas with decent poses, since many just lay there like worms in Elfwood. Would you mind if I borrowed the pose in upcoming works? hope not. this is very neat. I like it alot. Keep up the good work!
