I'm actually not commenting on your art, but on one of your comments from today's Mod's. His Dark Materials trilogy are my favorite books, with the Amber Spyglass riding right on top. I'm always happy to find someone else who fell in love with those books, and knows their landscapes so well. Have you ever read any other Pullman books? If not, and you love reading good books, his non-fantasy books are absolutely brilliant. If you haven't already, check 'em out. Here's to good books and good art. Peace. -rose

You've got a great start here darlin, your work is very unique. I love all your wings, which I cannot do myself (^^), but I think you should try to work with some shading, it will give your pictures more life.

Nice work, Amelia! I didn't know you liked Talking Heads too! They rock, both literally and figuratively! Really, though, MS Paint is an absolutely terrible program (though your art seems to come out ok)

If you want to see ore art--and I've gotten better--go to kylebroflovskifan.deviantart.com, cause I'm not going to post on here ever again now that I;ve been at DA for almost six months. In fact, everybody just pack up and go to DA. I don't know why you're wasting your time here if you're an artist. I mean if you're a fantasy/scifi art enthusiast, I can see why you like this site, but if you're an artist, head on out. This place sucks ass. You can post and enjoy just as much fantasy art on DA.
What do I mean?
I mean it SUCKS. -->
-There's no community spirit (no faving/friending/watching/clubs!
-The format sucks--on DA pages are easy to find (username.deviantart.com)
-And most of all, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT THREE FRIGGING MONTHS FOR YOUR FRIGGIN 'TICKET' TO BE PROCESSED BY SOME ASSWIPE WHO GETS THEIR PANTIES IN A KNOT BECAUSE IT WAS ON LINED PAPER! Everything goes! Lined paper! Immediate submission! And you can swear!
Elfwood can kiss my ass. I'm pissed at the snobby mods and all the time I wasted here when I could have been at Deviantart.
