SciFi and Fantasy Art Another Elf! by Kathryn ´Kitty´ Gromowski

Wee! Ok, the basic lo-down on this one is that I haven't done real media in a while, and I need to get back into the swing of coloring and inking without ruining a picture I really like. So this is my sacraficial....elf. I'm also working on a lot of stuff. Posing/anatomy and the reality of both, hands/faces/feet and the reality of those too, folds, and just putting in more details in general. I know none of them are perfect in any picture, but I am trying to get better. So please be nice.
On an opinion note, I believe that there are good arguements for both the scantily clad and the fully clothed Elven Rangers. I, personally, believe that elves symbolize (among other things) sensuality and external beauty, so I wanted to capture that. However, because it IS an inking study, and I do tend to gravitate towards more fully clothed people in general, I needed all the little folds clothing would provide me with. < /opinion> Mech. Pencil and maybe an hour.

22 Oct 2003	Crabb	Loading... KG- You are such an awesome artist! You should put that one that you were drawing in Kacala's class last year, you know, during all the videos that we never watched. I loved that one. Anyho, I might drop comments on other ones... but I absolutely love this one... mostly because all elf pic remind me of you know who... lol.... Kathryn 'Kitty' Gromowski replies: "wow, Crabbo, you are obsessed XD I never actually finished that one...I really like it still, but for some reason, i just couldn't make myself finish it...."
