*dies* Ok, now that that's done, yes, this is acrylic. Like....paint. I like acrylics a LOT better than watercolors. Aaaaand, this was my first ever one with acrylics. And it wasn't originally War, but when it started to turn out well, he claimed it. So, now it's an elf. Yay. And a muse. Yay!
For my second (and better) painting, go here, which can't go up on EW cuz it doesn't really fit anywhere.... FAST pencil sketch and then acrylic paints (5 colors...red, blue, yellow, white and black. Which means I MIX all my colors....you try it and tell me it's not hard....)

13 Nov 2002	Dana M. Luker	Loading... Ahh! Acrylic! ^-^; I just did an acrylic piece as well! Acrylics are pretty hard to use, I think. o_o they dry so fast so its hard to get smooth shading. shrug You MIXED all your colors? o_o; That junk is hard to do! I cheat and use green as well, heh...Well, whatever. Great job! I think the hair turned out very well. ^-^ Mwee.. 22 Mar 2003	Keres Eiko & Luna	Loading... It's not just the use of a medium you are not that familiar with AND succeed, it's the portrait itself. I like it for it shows that you have what it takes, both talent and patience. Everything is well worked out, everything is at its place. The little that can be criticised may very well be intentional, thus i won't go into it :-X Overall i like what you are doing, especially this piece. Go on, drawn and paint some more!
