| 25 May 2008 | Shannon marylee eastwood | Loading...how does she look lost WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE HER FACE???!! Kathryn 'Kitty' Gromowski replies: "It was more of trying to portray the feeling though body language. Not all of human communication is in a face. You can tell when someone is in pain a lot of the time just by how they hold themselves, how they gesture, how they position their body. In fact, sometimes the very fact that you can’t show your face is the biggest sign of what you’re feeling. Besides which, to be curled in a corner is a fairly universal portrayal of pain/fear. I hope that you do know all of this, because without it, I’m not sure how well you can effectively portray emotion in your own artwork..." | |
