	This image was sketched in pencil, scanned and colored in photoshop. Ispiration for this was provided by a request to do a logo for a local rock band.

12 Aug 2003	Richard Magnan	Loading... The eyes are excellantly formed and the lips turned out verry realistic. Photoshop is tricky, but a good hyperpen does wounders. Try a to use the smudge thingy (my photoshop is in German "weichseichen") a bit, but not too hard and it will all turn out better. If you use a big, circular bistle brush and streak the hair area with differen tones of the same color you can get a pretty good hair effect. 21 Aug 2003	Kelly J Banta	Loading... Thank you for your comments on my page...I really like this piece and her eyes are so captivating. Coloring on any computer program can be hard and it can take forever. I like using Adobe PhotoShop or Corel PhotoPaint and a Wacom Graphire tablet and pen. Hair is something that is really time consuming but I have found that layering lots of thick and thin strokes of different colors and some smudging work well. The scarf on her head is really well done and the shadow and shade effect is very nice. Nadine Gruly replies: "Funny that you should chose to comment on this particular picture on this particular day...I just did some experimenting with the smudge tool and an updated version of this will be posted in about 2 weeks, so stay tuned to this channel =P.
