What a beautiful picture! The colours are amazing, and I love your style 19)

:-) Nadine Gruly replies: "Thanks a bunch....I consider that a real compliment coming from you 12 (I loved "The Power of Three" that you did.)"

Oh, wow... I love those wonderful cool colors! Owen was right, this thing IS hypnotic... Everything just lends this piece a feeling of detachment from reality...

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "Sometimes, a short escape into the realm of fantasy through art or reading is just what the doctor ordered =) I use my art to do just that sometimes, I am just surprised that it is so obvious =) Thanks for your nice comments =) "

That face...the combination of tiger markings and human proportions lends him a very hypnotic quality, well done! And his cloak just gave me some inspiration...Thank you! HAND!

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "Owen, thanks for your nice comments..The hypnotic quality is probably what makes real tigers so dangerous...Someone made the comment to me that he looks mean, I always thought it was just that he looked predatory..Glad you got some inspiration from this and let me know when you update again as I enjoy your work too =)."

I'm tempted to make a joke about Sigfried and Roy, but that would be in poor taste. So, instead, I'll just tell you this is a pretty cool picture. I especially like his robe--all bright and sparkly 2

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "Considering recent events I can understand the temptation and even though it would be in bad taste, after you mentioned it I came up with a joke of my own, although I won't post it here because as you said it would be in poor taste.....Glad you liked this one and thanks for the comment =)"

This is a Very good picture. The tigers face is absolutely amazing. I can't see how this could be doen any better.
The light comming from above and beneath is very beautifull also, but the tigers expression gives it all an essence.

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "Oddly enough, this sketch did not take as long as some of the others did...it just kind of flowed which was very unexpected as I had never really done a serious sketch of a tiger. I am glad that you liked it and thank you for the nice comments 2"

I think it is the human look in the eyes and about the face that draws me to this one. An excellent transposition that is wonderfully done!!

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "Coming from you, thats a real compliment and I am flattered =) Thanks for your kind words =)"

What a marvellous balance of colours 2
There's something else too - quite fascinating: if you look at the tiger's eyes, they appear to have a calm, serene gaze, but if you look at his face as a whole, the stripes in his fur around the eyebrows lend him a slightly more menacing manner - brilliantly done! =)

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "I truly tried to capture the essence of a real tiger...the hyptonotic eyes but a real sense of predatory power. Surprisingly enough, this sketch flowed pretty easily. Thanks for the nice comments 2"

Gothic Tigress says:

He's got that kitty staring thing happening...oh those eyes can be enchanting...

Great job on this, I love it!

15 Nadine Gruly replies: "I often wonder if mice are caught because of the lightning speed of the cat or because they are mezmerized by those eyes...thanks for the nice comments 2 "
