... Arn't I so imaginative. I love my title... Well, this was just a body study that i want to go further. I need suggestions about what to do w/ a background... as you can see i started to put up a window, but well... my muse abandoned me in the middle... I wanted a kind of oriental feel to it, but i can't get past the question: why is a naked girl sitting in front of an open window in the first place? So- i give you a work in progress and hopefully someone will tempt my muse out of hiding...

Very nice work on her anatomy!! I hope somebody comes up with a good suggestion to spark your muse 12

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "thanks! I love the suggestion you sent me. 1 haha- my muse is being tempted!*holds out ideas like treats...* come out... "

wow this is creepy.. I was drawing a picture almost EXACTLY like this the other night... the pose is almost exactly the same. Sept mine is aguy and he's not looking back, but the pose etc etc is almost the same. thats just wierd. but wow your's is turning out great, far better then mine lol.

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "Thank you! that is kinda creepy... I love your gallery by the way, your style is very clean and bordering on the edge of cute insanity... and that's not a bad thing... 1"

Your window looks like a mirror to me - no reason a mirror
can not have a fantastic shape. I don't know why she would
be sitting in front of a mirror either, but at least that
preserves her modesty. Nice work anyway...

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "*gasp* i didn't even realise it, but it does look like a mirror... hmmm... this could be a good thingthanks for commenting!"

First... put thoughts into her mind... her eyes already look thoughtful... They almost look pained or even full of hate.. And for some reason... When you mentioned a window... (or even a mirror..) I pictured it without any viewable support but a natural backround to it... either a forest type or maybe a cavern... But that's just my randomness.. good luck... and again.. i really love your style and work..

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "YAY! I'm so glad someone noticed her eyes. I tried really hard to put into them a look of total discust (?) ... that's what i get for listening to 3 Days Grace while drawing this. 1 and the forest/cavern idea is tempting too... I'm gonna hafta do several renditions of her... *sigh* darn... 1"

I really love the posture and then look in her eye, like I've disturbed her work or something. great work

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "yeah... she does give that impression... hehehe... it's what i was striving for - the look of utter hate... i dunno how well i got it, but I'm glad that you caught it... thanks for the comment! ( if i make no sence it's because it is so late at night for me... 1 ) "

I'd round her foot off more along with her nose. I'd also darken the attachment between the foot and the toes. And i have no idea what that line from the knee it doing.... i'd get ride of that and develop the bg. Yet you don't need one. Nice illustration!

22 Gwen Phifer replies: "i didn't clean up this pic before posting it... thus- lots of lines that should not be there... altho i agree with the rounding off and shading... i'm just lazy... 1 "

I really like the expression on her face. How about linking the mirror idea with making her more of a fantasy figure, by having her reflection reveal her true self, such as having wings or something? Just a random idea I had! Good luck with the picture.

2 Gwen Phifer replies: "OOO! interesting... "

When I first saw the pic I thought that the window line was actully smoke. So theres a random idea - a naked girl smoking an making spirals! Itsnot particullarly good idea for a background though...
Love this pic, its so realistic.

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "oh! good idea! Thanks for commenting. I really wish I had time to work this one out. It’s an oldie, but I still like it. ^.^"

She could be looking out of a luxurious tent flap at dessert dunes or an oasis?

:-) Gwen Phifer replies: "Also a really interesting idea! Thanks for commenting!"
