| 8 Apr 2004 | Siobhán A. Doyle | Loading...picture is great, it has a sort of 3D feeling to it (i thought it was fimo or something like that at first, especially the leaves of the tree) for some reason, this also reminded me of "The Highway Man" by Alfred Noyes, like maybe it's Bess and the Highway Man before all of the bad things happened, when they first met...not to tell you what it is or anything. point is, i liked it tremendously, especially because it's not a run of the mill dancing picture- you made it interesting (the tree, for example, is absolutly wonderful, i haven't seen that style of tree before) it's verya live and full of movement. really good work! Gwen Phifer replies: "yay! o! this is one of those comments that make so many artists happy! I love the Highway Man... the pic was more based on my emotions tho (whatever those are) thank you so much for taking time to comment!" | |

| 5 Aug 2004 | Amanda L. Ganza | Loading...i LOVE this picture....I was browsing through the gallery and this one definitely caught my eye as one of your best. I love her dress...I want it! | 30 Sep 2004 | Rebecca-Lee S. Hickman | Loading...I like the bark, the dream catcher, the apples and smoke. I think the male's face should be developed more. I also think you could add a little more detailing to the clothes. And texture. Nice job. Gwen Phifer replies: "Yes! lots of texture... sadly this one almost crashed my computer it was so big... ah well... this is still flat... Thanks for the critique! " | |
| 8 Sep 2005 | Deborah K. Gordon | Loading...i agree with... umm... that other chick. It reminds me of The Highwayman, too- the ribbon in her hair, and the fact that she's a lnadlord's daughter, etc. I really love the smoky curls at the bottom, it makes me think he's like a star-person who's got control over smokey stuff and things... so yeah! all in all, excellent! Gwen Phifer replies: "YAY! you get a cookie! cuz- yeah- he's exactly a star-like..person with control over fog and stuff... and planetary traveling/(pirateing) and stuff... ^.^ Thanks for commenting!" | |
