This drawing shows a mighty Liontaur warrior, posed and at the ready to defend the beautiful zebra painted maiden that sits upon his back.

Wow. The only animal based mythical creature I like is the liontaur and you've drawn an awesome one. It's too bad I can't find a sketch of a liontaur skeleton. Does anybody know where I could find one or perhaps some anatomy of some sort?

Anyway, GREAT JOB STUART! And as someone said at the top, that's one lucky liontaur.......ggggrrrr......

Aren't they called Wamecks? They are in AD&D.

Great pic in any case. Very good anatomy and shading.

Oh, wow. I love the Zebra maiden -- she's so pretty. The Liontaur (or Wamek. I dunno.) is strong and handsome as well. It's a very interesting piece. Not to mention this is well-done pencil work -- very smooth, very nice, detailed textures. Excellent.

You know what, and I don't mean any insult, when I look at this picture I have to ask myself, why would the lovely zebra-painted maiden be with this guy. From the neck up he comes across like a bit of a pussycat. It seems hard to believe that he could defend a bowl of milk let alone the lovely zebra-painted maiden - and she deserves defending! I mean really, what's he gonna do - meow at his opponent? Seriously, it looks like someone slapped a wig on a tabby and jammed him in a Wameck costume. Beyond that, what can one say. Lovely shading.

Good, good! Great pic! Just one question: why is the guy's sword BEHIND the saddle ( dunno what else to call it )?
His arms are not long enough to reach it! Keep up the great work!

A liontaur and a zebra women....Well, i can say it's differant. I like things that are interesting and differant. Your an artist who likes to think outside the box and that's good. Keep'em up!

He is a pussycat! That's why she loves him, 'cause he's diffrent than the other liontaurs. And and... it's those diffrences that let him love her two! Star-crossed lovers..

Ok... I'm going to wander off and be a hopless romantic else where. ^^

This is really cool! I like how you did the liontaur realistically. The sword is a little far back for him to get it easily; otherwise you did an awesome job with it.

This is a really good picture, although the sword is aliitle back on him. Is that so the Zebra maiden can get to it and defend herself? I really like the detail you’ve put into his accesories. The idea of the lion and the Zebra by the way is inspired. It’s like Twilight, with the predator falling in love with its prey.
