Stuart Gormley

I hail from the lands of Ireland, being born with a pencil in one hand, and a good ole pint of Guinness in the other! I love fantasy more than any other style of work, and the more medieval something is, the better. I have to give praise to all those who have helped me along the way, for it is an arduous path sometimes walking around as an illustrative mercenary for hire. Thanks to all of you for all the kind words, pointers, some not so kind words, and the many assignments I have under my belt. I owe a lot of inspiration to many artists, some included are Elmore, Caldwell, Frazzetta, Parkinson(in fond memory), Brom, Stawicki, Easley, and a good mate of mine, Ron 'Wildman' Spencer! I also owe a huge debt of thanks to my wife Meghan who keeps from getting too idle with my work and my wee lass Siobhan for making me draw cute things instead of just monster mayhem. Not too forget my ferret furballs Arwen and Bloke who provide loads of antics, and their own inspirations. I would like to thank Thomas himself for Elfwood, and to all of you who spend a little time in my neck of the Elfwood forest. I am available for commissioned work, and every once in awhile, when the moon above shines bright and blue, I will even do a request here and there.
