SciFi and Fantasy Art Comic: Selena and Shazzell by Andy Guest

Another pic done in a slightly more comic book style and... yes, it's sci-fi! A bit of a rarity for me at the moment... These two are meant to be half-sisters, maybe part of a gang or something similar... dunno to be honest, just started out as a bit of a sketch on really rubbish paper, a bit like school bog-roll, but I liked it so finished it off. The leg band with the fishnets in between was inspired... well, stolen from Patrick Boyle's fantastic Stupid Trolls picture... Done with a HB mechanical on bog-roll.

I'm glad you've got a sense of humor (oops, humour) because I would have to say that those are the most painful looking boots I've ever seen anyone stand in. awaits your response to that But really Andy, I like this one a lot! Ah, the boots, well I contemplated putting them in fluffy slippers but it kinda messed up the whole Misc-en-scene... Look at me with the lingo! I'll be chucking Latin out next. "

I'm last place for all the comments! stands under the "loser" sign dejectedly whilst a raving baboon pours a bucket of mashed bananas over her head Awesome character designs, anyways.... I think those boots would be tough to walk in, and that those girls will have severe back and hip problems when they're older, but they do look pretty cool..... Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Baboon: They might have horiffic back and hip problems but at least they aren't covered in banana eh?... actually you look quite tasty now... anyone got any chocolate sauce?"

I'm guessing that means the same as 'mise-en-scene' which is a French term that refers to everything that has been put in the frame...feeds media studies notes to the starving hound Otherwise you've lost me totally Mr Grease Ball.... Excellent work though. Looks like they haven't eaten for days... Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Studious One: Ha ha, you're not wrong! I wouldn't mind but I did Media Studies as a degree! Evidently learned a lot from that one! Bollocks..."
