Loremaster, what an excellent beard, perhaps it would be more use on top of your head.

Andy I'm in
awe of your pencilwork,it's so detailed and fine,
love this dwarf you did a beautiful job 2

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Black and charred mess: Thanks a lot Katerina! And i´m in awe of the realism you get in your pictures, amazing! Cheers Kat!!"

His knuckles are knobbly perhaps he has gout as well. I love his toes peeping out. The robes are gorgeous and I love the book.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Frying Panthian: Gout, a bit of arthritis and syphilis... all in all not a happy chappy! Cheers Valerie!!"

I love this picture!

Gosh, he looks like a character, doesn't he? ;o)

Love the beard. I hope his pipe doesn't accidentally light it on fire.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Burn Surgeon: I'm afraid since the picture was drawn poor Gorm has suffered a horiffic beard inferno accident and is now reduced to just having big Noddy Holder style sideburns, a tragic case..."

Oh my!

What a fantastic, delirious, wonderful, impressive beard. As we, french Canadian, say : «méréfique».

In fact I hate dwarves, but this one gave me a good. And you're right, he should use his magic to transfer the hair of his beard to the top of his head.

Very very good pic.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Whinging Detective: Cheers Jean! I'm afraid the only french I know is 'bagette' and 'oi hi oi hi oi' so your words are lost on my ignorance... I have seen a few french films but that's another story. Cheers pal! hate dwarves eh? oooh, you're making him mad! Get him stumpy...! "

power yes...Power to the short people! this is another example of beautiful shading and detail...

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Whirling Dervish of Death: hmmm... death to the short people more like... everyone under 6 foot should be slowly tortured and then brutally skewered to leave a shuper-race of giants! Mu ha ha ha ha!!!"
2 Jul 2005:-) Antje Schaalmeier
What a gorgeous beard! And I´m jealous - I just -CANT- draw dwarfs. You did a great job on the proportions, the shading and, of course, the beard...

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Smooth Eel: Aha, always good to see a fellow beard fan! If you can't trip over it, it ain't worth havin! Cheers m'dears! "

*shoots andy with a bfg* you really are a wonderful person, aren't you? Well, that guy does have a cute beard... How many birds reside within it?

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from Mr Wonderful: Yes... I'm wonderful... well said... I was hoping someone would notice. *accepts award for being most wonderful human of 2005* I'd like to thank my manager, the pizza delivery boy and that badger I met in the bar called Gerald... Thank you, I thank you.."

Mr. Wonderful? Piping on your own flute now are we? "Here I come, yes! I am Andy. Fear me and my curry filled pockets!"

Gorm said he wants to move in with me because he likes that Irish faery in my sketchbook. And I think he's also got a thing for the Elven Princess.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Slop Bucket: Well, I'm gonna have to insist on being a chaperone... I can't in good conscience let the 102 year old have his wicked way with both the Irish fairy and the Elven Princess. The dirty ol' dwarf's already got the web-cam set up... "
2 Aug 2005:-) Pierre Stoltenfeldt
9 months after Gandalf visited Hobbiton...

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Long Term Sufferer: Cursed Stuntyitis! "
