£ 3.50 for a wig? Golly gosh that's cheap. It's probably one of those horrid synthetic ones that turn you into a pom-pom when you shuffle across carpet and then touch a door-knob. *snigger*
Kind've unrelated here, but I once had an offer from a woman's wig-maker for my hair when I was 8. Creepy.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Splatted Hedgehog: Someone wanted my hair to make a wig once aswell, only it was back and shoulder hair. He managed to get enough to cover a boiled potato... that was one snuggley warm spud. "

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Attic: You look like that but with Black hair??! ... what can I say... well done!"

I'll be honest: I'm not really fond of portraits of such, well, sexy characters because they're a little overdone. Sometimes I feel like fantasy gets a bad rap because places like Elfwood are full of borderline hintai and such. I'm not saying that this is pornographic or anything, but I *know* that you're VERY capable of very real, very beautiful, very deep art--why not flaunt your ability to transcend stereotypes and cliches?

I'm gonna stop lecturing you. (= It's actually a very GOOD piece, I just don't LIKE it. Does that make sense? The composition is great--It's fun to use cooler tones to frame warmer ones because it creates such an aesthetically pleasing sense of depth. The way you shaded her hair is also nice, and i like how you balanced the black and grays on her clothes with blacks and grays in the "frame". Nice.

(Please don't get mad at me!)

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Hippopotamus Oath: I can't really get mad at you can I. I already gave you a sound thrashing with a big stick earlier today so now have nothing left to give!

I actually know exactly what you mean. There are loads of pictures here on elfwood (especially of femanoids) who you can tell are just copies of photos of women out of lads mags with pointy ears or a tail added on. It's usually quite obvious I find. It's always a tempting and easy way out but never really amounts to much due to the fact that girls in magazines aren't usually doing anything exciting (....well, sometimes they are...), just sitting or standing around pulling faces. Brilliant! but not that great on Elfwood. Cheers though Jen! "

Your coloring is fantastic, truly. What's this about you not having a eye for color, I must argue? You do doubt yourself there. Very beautiful...even though her norks are unneccesarily huge. Oh well then...

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Hungry Horrace: There's no such thing as an unneccesarily huge nork... all hugeness when it comes to norks is not only neccesary but demanded!... to be honest though I never mean to draw them that big, they just sort of end up like that, must be my subconscious mind exerting itself "make them bigger, bigger... bigger than that!" Then before you know it her bra's snapped under the pessure and you realise you've gone a bit too far with this whole 'giant nork agenda'... such is life I suppose!"

This is simply gorgeous. I always have a hard time using bright colors like that and not making the picture look like a guady rainbow, but you've done great here. There's balance and symmetry here. Stunning subject too, flawless anatomy and unique facial features not your steriotypical plain beauty.

:-) Andy Guest replies: "Comment from the Loose Trouser: I'm usually a bit fan of the rainbow effect as well... things turned out ok with this one but usually they end up looking like cheap Japanese cartoons in the middle of a Caribbean street festival... Not a pretty sight! Cheers Jennifer!"

So beautiful! I love it when u color your pics! I do agree with melanie l wood though, her *ahem* "norks" are quite unnecesarily huge...Still good though! And whats wrong with cheap japanese cartoons? Jk! Nice work, keep it up!!

I'd like to comment but I'm comming up short on something to say. With no desire to say "Good Job" or "That's Cool" and not being able to critique at the moment you get this... speal of nonesense in place of what should be a complimentary statement... so... ok there you go.

Well then Sir Andy, ahem... why haven't we had the pleasure of seeing her over at PD before? You're just holding out on us I see. Anywhoo, this wench stole my hair Andy! How could you let that happen? *pouts* Well anyway, I have those same boots. Only they are different. But at least they are black and high heeled like that and go up to my knees. They are my "tall shoes." Anywhoo, you should try to coax this little muffin to come over to PD. And you should really color more of your drawings love. Oh there is a "check spelling" button down here. That is the most awesome thing I have ever seen in my life. Ah technology...
