SciFi and Fantasy Art Burning Queen - WiP by Gus Kosmopoulos

This was a picture I drew for my friend Kris Jacque of her character, Azriel. She was kind enough to let me use her for my 8th Sin story. A while ago, we decided that Inada and her would be cousins. :) So there we go.

Now while Inada's the ice queen and cold to the touch, Azriel's all about the fire. Her body burns to the touch. They both have jewels in their forehead that were embedded there ages ago so that they could protect their lands. There are two kings as well who have the same jewels in their heads, though of different powers such as earth and water. There's more powers of course, and 'evil' kings and queens. I just haven't developed them yet. :D

10 Sep 2005	Anonomous	Loading... umm this is a good peice of art...but (I'm sorry if I offend you) I don't think it should have gotten mods choice...it needs some more depth and shading...that s just my opinion though...
10 Sep 2005	Paul Eduardo	Loading... I still cant get over this work of art it strikes my heart more than most pictures Ive seen. Real talent that could be seen in a animated film or anywhere. I could only ever dream to be able to draw like this. You rarely ever see someone with a talent like yours. Maybe they should call this the real modern art and not the pretenshious crap done by the egotistical pompus twerps of today. This is my favourite out of your collection, love it real cool.

10 Sep 2005	Simi Landau Muffin Queen	Loading... WiP? Does that mean that it will be in color someday? I would love to see it in color! I am in love with that sword, it's amazing. Her outfit is so eye-catching, too. Congrats on Mod's Choice!
10 Sep 2005	Palm Tree	Loading... This is a beautiful piece of art. I love her facial expression, and the hair. You also did a great job on the outfit, the design is very unique and eye-catching. However, I noticed that her right arm is too short and that makes her whole body look disproportionate. Her left arm is also a bit short, but not as bad as the right. A good guideline to go by- if she lets her arm hang down, it should end about halfway between her hip and knee, or slightly higher.
14 Oct 2005	Esther Yu	Loading... Creative costume design...and I love the sword. I have the same comments on proportion as Palm Tree. The right arm is too short, and the left one a little bit also...for some reason her head seems a tad big. But I love the figure, and her face is very lovely/sensual. Perhaps her legs should be longer. Did this get mod's before the crash or am I hallucinating? I'm sure I've seen this before...

17 Feb 2007	Zeb fischer	Loading... I love the sword great drawing too but as a little constructive critisism i would consider shading, it can make a peice look much more appealing and would do wonders for this one
