The composition is very good, except for his drinking arm being behind the nymph's head when he seems to be standing in front of her, or is he suposed to be sat across her legs? Greg Vilton replies: "As I already told you on the forum, I see nothing wrong with the pose as it can perfectly be reproduced in reality. The satyr is not sitting across the nymph's legs. He is standing up, her legs are behind him and the upper part of her body is in front of his arm. Not easy to explain with words but I would say that she is so to speak 'curled up' around his right side. Hope this clarifies the whole thing...
In any case, thank you for dropping by and giving your input on this picture."

From what you hint his lower legs are a bit too thin, but considering they are goat legs, this can be done on purpose. Hehe, this is the first time i see a nymph with pointy ears... an EW nymph maybe? Only thing that bothers me is his posture in relation to the wine container... he looks more like he is posing for a photo than one trying to qwench his thirst... it is a beautiful work nevertheless and yes... he is hot Greg Vilton replies: " LOL It was certainly written somewhere that I would not escape this kind of thoughtful comments! *sighs and winks*
Anyway, thanks for leaving your feedback. As far as the right thigh of the satyr and the pointy ears of the nymph -my aim was indeed to give her an elfwood-esque look so to speak- are concerned, I had the same thought as yours. But both elements have been painted like this on purpose, which does not mean that I can not change my mind about the leg in a week or two! Even then, it won't be too late as this part can be very easily altered if I eventually decide to fix it.
Oh... and if they look like they are posing, it's normal. Please take a look at the small description of the picture on my bio page and you will understand why *winks*."

Pan was also associated with fertility, wine, wild woodlands and honeybees, as well as music and joy. To me, this is a wonderful depiction of Pan. His eyes are kind, yet non-human. Your anatomy is excellent - particularly the left hand and wrisy. Few show the little bump of the wrist bone. I like the natural softness you have given to the nymph’s breasts - not the hard conic type shown in so many illustrations.
