Welcome to my neck of the woods. I've had a bit of a reorganisation the past few months and think it's about time I let you in on it. This is more a reorganisation of how I view my stories than what is available to read. I have a new filing system and I thought it would be interesting if I share it with those of you who read my stuff.
Stories will now fall into one of 5 categories so you know what you are letting yourself in for :
Complete Short (CS) : I have no plans at all to expand on these unless heavy prompting occurs. They are as far as I am concerned complete.
Series of Shorts (SoS) : This means there will be several linked shorts in the same setting often with the same characters. But each section is complete in and of itself.
Extracts (E) : This will be an extract from a larger tale presented here to give a flavour of the story as a whole (I will not be posting huge novells in chapters as I would only be able to do that once the story is complete. I'm an editing perfectionist.
Sidekick's Tales (SKT) : These are stories in the same world as one of my larger stories that either give 'deleted scenes' or give you a more in depth look at minor characters or events mentioned but never explained. Letting the sidekick take centre stage.
Acorns (A) : Stories that right now are just the short that exists here but have potential to become a longer story in future.
Descriptions for existing stories will be updated as I go along. New stories will include these codes when I upload them
Here is a list of my stories & poems written for The Herscher Project
(Those in silver are not available here in Elfwood.):
Project 16 “The Hunters and the Hunted”: Dagger in the Dark
Project 17 “Dragon's Breath”: The Shape of a Dragon
Project 18 “Urban Legends”: A cry in the night
Project 19 “The Gift of Vision”: I can see the Forest
Project 20 “Through the Looking Glass”: (pending) Currently Editing it
Project 21 “Pretty Paper, Ribbons and Bows”: Winter
Do Click on This Herscher Project link to find links to other authors on Elfwood who are a part of this project. There are a fair few of us and the stories are well worth a read and the images a worth a look.
And last but not least go read Malin M. Larsson 's stuff it's worth a read. Thanks to her I get the pokes I need to keep writing.
