This is Calydor.  He is one of the characters of the FT.  I like him a lot, and I really like his coat color. I love the blue, so he rocks as far as color. You cant really tell too easily (stupid camera flash) but if you look closely, you can see silver flecks around his eye, spilling down his neck, over his shoulder, across his back, and down his flank. He has three white feathers in his mane, just saying that so people dont say that I forgot to color the feathers.

Enjoy!

Good pic 2 I think you need to work on the tail a bit though

62 Molly Blyth-Olson replies: "Yah, it does look a bit funky in this pic, but in the original (before the camera flash) you could see more shading and you could tell that the tail looked kind of like an arab tail, in that it flipped over a bit. You cant really see it here, but its there. Thanks for your comment!"

I like this one too. I must say, I can notice improvement in your work by looking at the old and new updates. Pretty soon you'll be drawing horses like the pros! Nice work. I love drawing horses! I wonder why they're so fun...

62 Molly Blyth-Olson replies: "Why thank you! I believe that horses are so fun to draw...because...well, they are horses! And horses rock! They are so cute, and some fuzzy, how could they not be fun to draw!"

Yay! It's a colored work! I can see you've been practising on that too. I really like the blue color on this one, it's a shame that you can't see the silver flecks. I think the anatomy look very good on this one, I just noticed that you draw the eyes too small. The mane and tail could have a little more detail and now that you started coloring, you should start working on the shading too and pull out some of the muscle definition too, but that'll come with time. The only thing the bugs me here is the left-hind leg, I think the area around the stifle and the hock is too thick, other than that I can't point anything else. I really like his pose and I love the little feathers. Great work, this is one of my favorites of yours.

62 Molly Blyth-Olson replies: "Yes! I have started coloring!Actually, this was done a long-ish time ago, and if you want to see some of my better coloring jobs, you should visit my deviantart gallery. My user name is razzinauusi. Thanks for your comment!"
