It’s neat that you didn’t go out of the way to emphasize the mechanical nature of this creature. That’s one of the biggest temptations with doing something like this. This should’ve gotten a Mod’s.

beautiful - i love the idea of the mechanism - reminds me of that story of Creation, how the man found a watch in a field and wondered at its creation...something to do with everything having a Creator...anyway, cool
