"Hamstertastrophe" by Alex Teddy Cardenas

OK, this was funny... I was babysitting my friend's Eric's hamsters and I decided that they would accompany me on a little painting experiment, so I left them on the table where I was working. I was playing around with the alcohol over watercolor technique, but it wasn't really working for me, so I left my alcohol bottle on the table while I went to answer the phone. When I came back the hamsters had spilled all of the alcohol on the table, and I had to clean up everyting. 

After this "hamstertastrophe" I decided to paint what appears to be a couple of really silly hamsters trying to steal some potions... but everything goes wrong... The watercolor washes you see on the top of the painting are my first attempts of the alcohol technique. I'll keep practicing and hope I get better at it... and not to have any pets around when I do.
