Gardner | Loading... oi you! you commented on a picture of Quetzal Coatl that i made once, right? i got business for you: it is not a dragon, in any way, shape, form, interpretation. it's an Incan/Mayan/Aztec fusion betweeen the bird, Quetzal, and the snake, Coatl. sure there's some confusion, given he's the god of fire/sun/gold-as the Xuicoatl are symbols of fire and total power, but they. aren't. dragons. ...actually, i think in Incan lore, he's a man. that might have been Cuculcan, i'm not sure.... V.nice april  oh and dont worry about people like the one that commented above, they just have to extend the fact they think they know more about mythology than every one else... (and QuetzalCoatl has been interpreted as a dragon by some experts, because in some eastern cultures dragons are also the combinations of snakes, birds and various other animals and they definately are dragons ) dont forget, that fantasy art is what you see, not what everyone else thinks they know. ^_^ April Halcomb replies: "thanks!
yaeh i don't really care if my fantasy is different that everyone else's. it's what i think and what they think can be different i don't go around telling everyone else there's is wrong so they have no right telling me what is right or wrong. like you siad it's what i see and that's just what i saw.
