SciFi and Fantasy Art Leaning on a child coffin by Signe Hammar

This is a vampire-like woman in a 19th century dress leaning on a child coffin. Originally I just wanted to draw a beautiful evil creature and I just felt like the 19th century was the perfect century for vampires (dunno why really, can it have anything to do with Anne Rice?) so I made her a 19th century lady. My favorite thing about her though, is her claws. I never draw claws but I just felt like it fitted well with her. Of course the light is wrong (is it ever right?) but try not to think on that.
