SciFi and Fantasy Art Sonea´s boys by Signe Hammar

In each book of the Black Magician Trilogy (by Trudi Canavan) Sonea has a guy that is interested in her (she does not always respond to the other's feelings). In this drawing, I have depicted the three men together.

From left to right, Dorrien, Akkarin and Ceryni. They're not in "chronological order". However, I have a hard time seeing Akkarin standing anywhere but the middle... Moreover, I had the most difficult with Cery because he was lit from above (it's hard, at least I think so, not to make people lit from above seem mad and/or evil). I like Akkarin the most, though he has a bit too broad face. Furthermore, the two light sources are two gloves of light, the larger one to the right is Akkarin's and the smaller one's Dorrien's. On Cery's arms you're supposed to be looking at small knifes, I suck at drawing them though...

3 Aug 2008	Sonea	Loading... It is a lovely drawing. I think that you have captured Dorrien well, though I pictured him as being older. Also I thought of Akkarin as a more starved look. But that is not for me to critisize for we each see them differently and at least you had the talent to draw them.

8 Oct 2008	Ruth annarose digby	Loading... I love it! Just finished the series for the second time... Dorrien and Cery are pretty much perfect - I love Cery’s expression - and I agree Akkarin could be a little more slender, but even so he’s great!

Dorrien is.... Ah, I love him... It´s silly, that there are not paintings on german sites, but elfwood is very good.... I´m sorry for my silly English....

7 Feb 2009	Elin	Loading... Im so glad that im not the only one whos moarned in days after i´d finnished the books. I dont know if I ever will read the books again. I love them with all of my heart, but i dont think I can handle Akkarins dead again. I think I fell in love with him!! I know its crazy but well im a sensitive person. And about the pic. I love it! Ceryni looks exatly like that!! And others two are also stunningingly good!
13 Oct 2009	Ilyë Chi Estrin Kakocechih	Loading... nice picture, i like Akkarin especially, and cery really reminds me of someone... about Akkarin, i LOVED him, and i cryed for days after finishing the third book! i haven’t been able to read it for a year or so, and even now, when i read the ending, i cry like someone in my family died. you can’t let main characters die like that, it’s far too sad!
