One of my attempts at realistic drawings. This is my elf character Salogel. I think he turned out fairly nicely though my sister said 'He looks like a 40 year old indian'. I did put a little too much definition in his cheeks and I really should have spend more time on his body. Reference: Olando Bloom photograph.

Yeahy! more pic's from Hannah! hehe, I love this, good work the skin tones. ^_^

:-) Hannah Renee Kimball replies: "As always, thank you! You really think so? I think his skin tones were a little off...but they did look realistic! Except for his body, I should of taken more time on it when coloring....bleh! Thanks for the comment! ~hugs~"

HOWDY! ::eats the first comment cookie:: heeeeeeey, thats really good! and the picture you referenced from is a good pic of orlando bloom too dontcha think? heh, sexy sexy sexy... ::glomps him:: good job! you did really well, very close to the pic.. (anatomy wise)
the only reason i know that you referenced this from an orlando bloom pic is cuz i have it on my computer... hes a really good model ent he? good job

12 Hannah Renee Kimball replies: "~hands you a glass of milk to go with first comment cookie~ Good?Sure is! I had been trying for days to draw Salogel realistically and just couldn't seem to find a good reference! I tried Tom Cruise but that didn't turn out too well...he just looked like a cross dresser! So I knew that Bloom was the way to go since he pulls off an elf so well! I tried my best to make it as close as I could...but those big pecs of Blooms didn't seem to fit Salogel. So that might be why he looks a little different. He is indeed an excellent model."

Boy howdy Hannah, I keep telling you to take some art classes, then you could work from a live model! Woot, you sure did do a nice job with this one. I vote for you to keep trying to draw from life. he he he

12 Hannah Renee Kimball replies: "Hee hee hee, I sure would love to take art classes...think they'll let me in college? That might help me get some credits. I did a pretty good job on this one, I's think. That's for the comment! ~huggs~"

I don't know about the age, but he looks indian-ish to me, even though he is blonde. Great shading.
