In a not so distant future, a younge girl begans to write. She writes of life, studies, accomplishments, failures, music, science and art. Simply put, it is a biography she writes. One that spans her life. Okay, so maybe just the past few years.
Where shall I start. On August 3rd, 1985, I emerged from...hmmm, not that far back. Perhaps we should just move from an entire biography to art history.
I started drawing shortly after seventh grade, at least documented proof of drawing. As far as I know, I have been drawing all of my life, each piece getting progressively better. I went from art hanging on the fridge to art displayed online.
I took a sememster of art in eight grade, this being the only 'formal' art education. Since then, I have taught myself the art of drawing with a few pointers from my older sister, who has taken art classes. I explored the world of colored pencils, slowly graduation from Crayola to Prisma colors and was filled with joy to see their beauty displayed on the paper. My collection of sketch books grew and I moved onto persue the media of watercolors.
I've gone to a couple of artshows and have one a couple of awards. The first was a piece inspired by September 11th and is not displaied here for it is the wrong genre. The piece intitled 'Kanashimi' translating to 'sorrow' in Japanese won second place in the jounior division when displayed in the Nan Desu Kan anime convention artshow.
Sadly, I don't update this site as often as I should, having posted more of my artwork on DeviantArt.
