| 18 May 2004 | T.E.K. (Krausetree) | Loading...It can be Frida Boticelli Bosch Waterhouse Angelou! (A name that's strangely enough pretty cool in sound.) This is an amazing piece, granted, but it seems to me that the little fellow on her left is a teeny bit flat--then again, there is a little of that effect throughout, and this is music imagery, after all. You use the medium the way I want to use your head for using it so well. Keep it up! By the by, ther is nothing wrong with the face. Hannah 'Boojy thuh Goff' Sauer replies: "Hehe ja, I can't draw animals to save my life. I had to find SOOO many photo refs just to check out what nightingales look like o.O Thankyee for your comment! ps. I didn't even notice your typo until you pointed it out to me!" | |
| 18 May 2004 | Jesus | Loading...This totally reminded me of Bosch, but I also see some Frida Kahlo too. I didnt notice the neck till I looked a second time. This is pretty awesome. Is My Dying Bride the song or the band? Hannah 'Boojy thuh Goff' Sauer replies: "Hehehe, thanks ^_^ The songless bird is the song title and My Dying bride is the band, they're kind fo progressional but not.. hell I'm going to get flamed for labeling them now >_< Really nice lyrical imagery in their stuff though *drools* Thanks for your comment!" | |

| 23 May 2004 | Dreaming One | Loading...I love this picture. It's not at all what I expected from the thumbnail. Like the last person said, it looks all sunny and natural, then, BAM! It hits you with its creepiness factor. Brilliant. And yes, symbolism rocks. I love it when you look at a picture, and it actually tells you something. The meaning in this picture actually freaks me out a bit. Sort of like my worst nightmare. Heh. Keep it up! ~May PS~I like the way it's painted, too, by the way. Very stylized. Hannah 'Boojy thuh Goff' Sauer replies: "Glad you like it! Nice to hear the scare factor is still in working order. As for the stylization, I have a tendancy to use watercolours like gouache >_<;; I'm not very good at being experimental with styles! Thankyee verr much for your comment!" | |
| 28 Jun 2004 | Meghanna Starsong | Loading...This is an extravagant but interesting piece. It has a gothic, disturbing feeling to it, with the poor birds caught in her throat/cage. It is like words, songs, that she cannot release, due to her own mute lips. Or maybe she is being selfish by keeping the beauty of sound to herself, no? Anyway, your art is amazing. Hannah 'Boojy thuh Goff' Sauer replies: "Wow, I lurrrve your interpretation! I love hearing how people are reading into stuff, it really makes me think! Also it's always so much more indepth than anything I've come up with! Thankyou so much, your comment is gurtly appreciated!" | |
