Tag As FavoriteComment		This is my newest artwork (as of 9/2/02) I was inspired to draw her while in Hawaii recently. The ocean there is so alive and beautiful... it made me think she might be just out of sight under the waves! She is all coloured pencil 16.5 x 11.5 inches

I agree with Lisa, the pose is great...playing in the sunbeams! Her skin-toned tail is nice with all those ornate fins attached.

This is wonderful!! I love how you have the mermaid for a complete circle so we can see the front side of her fins! Awesome image!

Often when people draw mermaids, their tail, fins, hair, etc. is blue or green. I like the idea of a gold-colored mermaid.
