Meet Ivan, a former character in the Black Tower (an EMRP), yet another picture somewhat inspired by the works of Robert Jordan. Note the heron-marked blade. This is perhaps the oldest picture in my gallery.

Knowing the description of him, this is amazingly perfect. The expression is especially impressive and somehow alive. You did a good job with the eyepatch too. I think it might be a bit better if you showed shoulders going off screen, maybe...

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "Well, I have done so, but I haven't gotten around to rescanning it. ::be's lazy::"

this guy reminds me of an actor whose name i can't remember. i think he starred in the original anna and the king movie? me likes.. =)

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "Yul Brynner? Hm, I suppose he does in a way. Though that was definitely not my model. But, no I won't say who he was."

Very expressive face. You did a great job on the hand, too. Hands are always so difficult. Your shading technique is very good.

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "Yus, not bad for not having a bald pate as a model, eh? ::beams:: Still, the ear is carppy, but oh well."

"well,Mr. Bond, seeing as i've set up an overly elaborite trap involving gila-monsters and various forms of toasters to slowly and dramatically kill you and your overly beautiful 100lb. "nuclear physicist/navy seal" girlfriend while i'm convienently off camera, i'll elaborate in great detail to you my secret plan to catch moose and squirrel..."

For some reason... I just really, really like this one! It might be the look in his eye, the arch of his eyebrow, the tension in his lips, or that hand on his chin ("Hmm... I see...")... Or maybe it's the lack of hair. Or maybe it's everything put together. But I really like it!

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "I'm fond of it too. It was sheer luck that it turned out so well. I want to try my hand again, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a good male model."

I love this picture!! (I have a thing for bald guys, heh heh, especially mysterious looking ones like him. And the eyepatch is a verrrrry nice addition.) As always, wonderful shading, too.

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "Thanks, as you may have read above, I didn't have a model for this or any idea what a bald guy's head should look like, so I got lucky here."

The shading and texture of the skin is phenominal. It practically looks like it could have been from a black and white photograph. Gorgeous.

:-) Hannah Lee Fritz replies: "Thanks a lot. It is sort of different and likeable I think."
