So. We have at last that loveliest of Elves, perhaps the best loved of all the Noldor. Dear Finrod, lover of Mankind, discusser of philosophy, savior of Beren, wise, magical, beautiful Finrod. “He died then in the dark, in Tol-in-Gauroth, whose great tower he himself had built. Thus King Finrod Felagund, fairest and most beloved of the house of Finwë, redeemed his oath.” This picture is no doubt Finrod in his youth, perhaps even in the Bliss of Valinor. The shading, texture, detail and proportion are lovely, and I like where you've stopped the picture, and especially the initial. If only I were an elf lover...
