Something like a journey to nowhere. Sometimes to find where you're going, you need to stop trying to get there.

Details: She is (or, I am, since these cards are based on me) powering a lightbuld with her own willpower. I have a purple Iris in the other hand since the color and flower are spiritually significant. Also I wanted the environment to convey character, rather than the subject alone carrying the meaning of the card.

11 May 2009	Jeanette M Thomas	Loading... Interesting. The usual concept is the Hermit upon the heights he has climbed, holding his lantern to provide light to those who follow. Since you say this depiction represents you, you have drawn yourself going in circles - doesn’t look like you are guiding anyone with the inner power you have discovered, not even yourself. The Iris also has signifigence with card XIV, Temperance.
